•What wind effect mitigation methods have you found to be most effective? E.g. vertical wind screens, solid walls, horizontal skirts, louvers to direct flow to fan inlet etc.
•Have you used water spray system in steam turbine exhaust to condense steam prior to ACC and reduce load on the ACC? If yes, can you quantify effectiveness of such system in reducing ACC load?
•Can you share any useful study results on various mitigation methods and their effectiveness?

Just joined the forum; hence my late response. Galebreaker provides CFD studies of ACC’s. The process is to model the existing conditions including seasonal prevailing winds. Often prevailing wind conditions exceed the ACC’s original design conditions causing fan vibration problems and/or reduced thermal output. The study models a variety of perimeter and under-unit configurations with a goal of normalizing or balancing the air distribution into the fans. I’m sure we have case studies from other projects that would be of interest to you.
