CJ Meyer

I am a researcher at Stellenbosch University, South Africa and a former student of the late Prof DG Kroger. My primary research focus is fan-heat exchanger systems which would then include ACCs. In addition to experimental work my students and I have developed software to analyse the flow (heat transfer) through and around ACCs. This allows us to focus attention on interesting topics like the effect of wind on ACC performance for example. I am also a co-owner of a company that manufactures large-scale axial flow fans, Notus Fan Engineering. The aim is to make the insights gained through research accessible to industry via our products.
