Are there any users that operate the ACC gearbox oil pumps 24/7 when offline to keep the oil warm and prevent cold oil starting issues? We used to use the oil immersion heaters but found that these heaters would cook the oil and damage the gearbox.
Any experience with synthetic gearbox oils that stay viscous in cold weather and do not need immersion heaters or continuous oil pump operation?
